Leading Palestinian Human Rights advocate to visit Australia

The Coalition for Justice and Peace in Palestine and the NSW Parliamentary Friends of Palestine are delighted to announce that the prominent Palestinian human rights advocate, Shawan Jabarin, has accepted their invitation to deliver the 2012 Al Nakba Commemoration address at the NSW Parliament. Shawan Jabarin is the Director General of Al-Haq, the respected Palestinian human rights organisation and West Bank affiliate of the International Commission of Jurists. For over two decades he has worked to protect and promote human rights in Palestine, receiving international recognition for his work.
