About Us

CJPP was launched in Sydney, Australia in April 2006 for all friends of Palestine. We are a broad-based community organisation supporting a just peace for Palestinians. Our members are from many different ethnic and/or religious backgrounds. We work to educate and raise awareness of Palestinian issues in the wider Australian community and run campaigns which assist Palestinians in Palestine and in the Palestinian diaspora.

CJPP presents Palestinian speakers regularly and each year presents a Nakba memorial event as well as coordinating other events and supporting initiatives from other Australian Palestinian advocacy groups.

CJPP set up Palestine Fair Trade Australia (PFTA) in 2016 which supports Palestinian farmers by purchasing and distributing goods from the Occupied West Bank.

CJPP is a member of the Australian Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN) and the Palestine Support Network Australia (PSNA).
